If you look at SB and QB you can see "016 Kopaka and Onua so it is a mistake.
It’s gotta be an error. There isn’t any logical reason for why they’d where any masks besides their golden ones. The beasts most likely stole their normal colored ones from wherever the Toa keep their discarded masks.

@Koffern I’d wait until we get character bios. The products page always gives you the same description fluff as online stores. A lot of the time you get non-canon information from the product descriptions, while the character bios are filled with (mostly, unless retconned later) canon information.

i said the same thing many posts ago. I mean it makes more sence that the Beasts would most likely steal the Toa’s mask and use them on the toa so that they too fall under Umarak/Makuta’s control so that they can revive Makuta the same way they did for Ekimu. Its better than one of the beasts steals the toa’s colored masks to gain their elemental powers without wearing them.
Yes- unfortunately probably an error, but id like to see a downgrade happen.

I personally believe that the great forge is like a giant Suva. In the pictures from the mask maker contest the masks appear to be kept in niches in the wall. Probably not true, but it would give the brothers a huge amount of control over the distribution of masks and possibly control over the islanders, like punishing criminals by taking away their masks and they can’t do anything about it.

It might be a bit late here as I mistook that for a second as chibi Umarak.
I would had Welcome the golden jaw, but I have bigger problem with how open their jaws they look dislocated an the gap between the mask and the jaw is too big.
At least with the beasts I would had preferred the mask to have more regular proportions, the exposed jaw of the head an the way the mask is placed so high make it look goofy and unfinished. Their heads are too “tall”

I’m hoping we see the Mask of Time at SDCC or NYCC. Seeing as the G1 Vahi was an exclusive mask not seen in the sets, I’m thinking it’ll be the same for the G2 Mask of Time.
If not the Mask of Time, then I would love to see small models at SDCC/NYCC like the Skorpion and Ekimu’s Falcon, rather than masks- IMO.
That is, if BIONICLE makes an appearance at all at either of the two comic-cons.
why would you want a mask that is hard to obtain…
If the most unmarketed constraction sets ever did I’m pretty sure bonkle will be there

It’s no fun collecting things that are easy to get, in my opinion.
Though handing out exclusives at an Inside Tour type of event is over the line. WAY over the line.
SDCC and NYCC would be the most exclusive for my tastes.

That pic is from Toy Fair, not Comic-Con. LEGO features their full retail lineup for the year at Toy Fairs, but Comic-Cons are for the public and the LEGO booth’s featured content varies.
