Do people not realise the mask is incompatible with the new heads. I hope they do. And also the lower G1 Vahi in design can not fit the Upper half due to having the prolonged ends (which fit the 2001 head as stated above).

The best thing you can hope for is ether the mask being flattened and shaped to fit the upper half, or change in design completely to not only fit with the upper half, but also fit with the upper half appearance wise.

That black head connector piece on Makuta looks glorious.
I want that Makuta pearl gold chest with printing…which probably why people think it will be made into a set. Cant blame them, that chest print.

I understand that everyone’s exited about story but I’m way more exited about what the new Makuta set could involve. First things first, we are at least getting one more Bionicle set. It could continue or it could not, however for them to have his model finished and animated I’m willing to say that they had a design at least 8 months ago, make of that what you will. Second the actual set itself, So we know for a fact it will have the MoUP, however, almost every single G2 set 15$ and up has had a secondary mask… I’m thinking the mask of time. Bump up the price tag to 24.99 and have 2 new molds and I’m cool with that. I’m also really happy his color scheme is gold and purple instead of the mundane black and red. Also if you look at his legs he has his signature hammer with what looks like a transparent part at the end. Another thing to note is that his chest attaches via one of those large but not quite torso ccbs shell pieces IN PURPLE!!! Either way we’re getting one final set (thank mata no er “ekimu” for that) and we’ll be getting a MoUP to finish off our collection, I’m happy.
It’s 6stud shooter in trans-purple, I wonder if we’ll get it in actual set))

Well it will be pointless to have an important mask already designed and not make it into a Set form.
You forget that the redesign was done within the same series and makes sense because it was one universe. Are you telling me that this universe is connected with the other one lore wise and that we can see a future where Vakama can have a nice chat with Ekimu…is this what you are going at?
If it, then sure, the design can stay. If not, then there is no reason for the mask to have the same design other than Nostalgia being the reason.
Dude where are you getting that from? He’s literally only saying that the lower half would have a different method of connecting to the heads, not that Ekimu and Vakama are gonna be talking

Why should it stay the same design in the second gen if not cause they are connected. The Toa masks didnt stay the same, despite the silly reason of the masks not being the mask of shielding but the mask of fire…they still are referenced as Tahus mask and people gravitate towards it as Tahus mask.
If it is a Vahi, then the design will change, if it is THE Vahi, then the two gens are connected.
Yes it s a stretch until proven that there is a multiverse connection with both gens.
Im not being against the notion of Multiverse series, I am a strong supporter of it due to Bionicle already done such a thing. But we need proof of that thing being confirmed and no just being a word of a fan.

its no wonder the people did not like Makuta’s masks if THIS is what his mask style was. Seriously, why did Makuta design a mask that looks like the face of a ghoul.
Can you say with official proof that the Vahi of G2 is the same as Vahi of G1? Despite them having the same name, is there any other reason to think of such things without bringing up the multiverse theory.
At least if the G2 Vahi had the same time slowing abilities as the G1 Vahi, then we would be able to say it with some certainty.
