This is what TD should look like.
Just look how diabolic he looks, if Lego was to give me anyhing, this should be it.

I’m willing to suspend my disbelief and give them a chance to make an awesome tail, but I truthfully just want them to take his current form, and just make it a lot bigger and more monstrous.

Thanks! Anyway, I trully hope The Destroyer isn’t black and trans orange. Cause if there is anything that makes me crazy about umarak is his color scheme. And oh boy if he had those four arms with blades…and those wings, and the shooter in his chest
Umarak TD= best titan ever.
@BlueCel Actually, what if they just made his head this like… monstrous deer dragon thing comprised of a technic, and they had the star wars shooter inside of his mouth (which you could open and close) so he’d like, shoot lazer fire balls or something out of his mouth. XD
Yours dreams are going pretty far
That function would be cool, but I feel like it should go on a beast rather than Umarak. And I feel like if they made the head like you say it would be big, meaning his body would have to be bigger, which equals: more expensive Umarak.
But money wouldn’t be much of a problem… Hehe
or maybe he has a big head and a tiny body like a lollipop, you know lego isnt too got at… I forgot the word…
proportions, that’s it
or they could make a new head mold that has a stud launcher, like kopaka eye, but you could shoot it
Orange and black color scheme…
No wings…
-6/10
Wings would totally destroy the unity gimmick being anything useful.
Actually I wouldn’t care if the Unity was sacrificed to give Umarak wings without the need of buying another set.
Like a charred forest full of glowing embers.
It’s just that I think the black and green scheme is a little bit more rare, I mean we’ve seen LoSS use it, and Kulta sortof had it. I just want Umarak to keep it, it just blends so well.
Umarak needs a creature too :3
You have to wait till Summer for that ![]()
Speculation;
2017 will probably have a different theme (destiny and/or the corruption of power). They’ll probably re-do the Toa again unfortunately. Though they should vary it a little with Makuta and presumably some bad guys to accompany him.
I could honestly see them just bring back the gearbox and combine that with a slightly altered swivel system that no longer has the butt-gear. They’d use the Star Wars gearbox armour and generally provide more coverage.
Main ‘gimmick’ would be each Toa have gold versions of their mask and potentially another conflict in the box in terms of Kraata-style/brain attack style creatures, Villain’s of the wave would use these creatures for the tops of their heads, continuing the idea of two masks forming one, so collecting the Toa would enable you to swap out the heads of the villains with varying designs enabling for quite a lot of combinations. Essentially the villains would be a mix of the Bohrok, Rahkshi and Brain Attack storylines.
The protectors are barely able to hold off a small group of Skull Spiders, only the elder Protectors seem to be shown have the ability to do this using weaponry however are easily overwhelmed. Added to the nonchalant nature of Tahu not viewing them as a threat (possibly because he hasn’t encountered them before at this stage and doesn’t know what they are capable of) it makes sense the villagers would be impressed.
Gali’s voice was part of a stylistic choice and makes sense in terms of the narrative of the animations. The entire 2015 animations were written as a story told from one male character to presumably their child. As such the male voices not only makes sense, but its supported by the story telling narrative.
That’s how you are supposed to pronounce Toa as shown here.
The nature of the characters was up-in-the-air when creating the Winter animations, they began to develop the characters more in Summer and Kopaka has not been shown doing this again. Though he has been shown as slightly hot-headed and rushes into things. I can see where this would be coming from with the changed nature of the character, but honestly, nothing wrong with him acting like this in the context of the character either not remembering the G1 events OR if this is a reboot.
This was just a poor line reading, not really a WTF moment
This was admittedly disappointing, but in terms of the animations, LoSS wasn’t really built-up as anything other than a fairly minor obstacle in the way. Something creepy in the dark, but in the day it would just be an over-sized spider. Like the Skull Spider situation with the villagers, its not surprising that a villager might be scared of it while the Toa wouldn’t due to being much larger and the whole ‘six against one’ thing.
Can kind of see where you are coming from, though admittedly they already intended a G2 Dume-like set with the Skull Villain combiner that would have combined several sets.
Some aspects do though the general shape is not their.

It has certain aspects such as the eyes, mouth being shaped like the MoC’s chin… that sort of thing. Though don’t think its enough if they were trying to harken back to the Kraahkan.
To be fair, this could be a way to do a G2 Nidhiki - may attempt that when the Lewa’s arrive :3
Given the skeletal vibe on his chest, its possible that Umarak’s gappy legs may be represented as where the flesh/muscle/robotic stuff has worn away. That way it’d keep the holes in the legs, while giving it an explanation.
I’m pretty sure this little thing will turn up in a polybag or promotion eventually.
Ordered my first batch on the 4th, its only been listed as ‘with sender’ as of the 7th. Hasn’t even started its journey to me yet xD
I think the 2015 masks on the 2016 sets would look generally better.
Anyone have solutions to fix this without pulling out the swivel to try and loosen it? ^
You’d have to add more pieces than just that, but it would probably be better.
In my view, to get me to purchase Umarak the Destroyer he’d need CCBS wings.
It’ll probably be a situation where he has two masks - one for the Unity form, one just being the Mask Of Creation
No confirmation yet, guess you heard it from people working off the 2015 summer wave prices.
Essentially what i am hoping for… just probably with two arms rather than four.
He’ll probably have the beasts and Uxar works better with him anyway.
I didn’t mean the set version, I was talking about the movie version. ![]()

[/quote]Eh, the cheeks look similar, the eyebrows look similar, the eyes look similar, and the mouth/chin region look similar. There are differences like the horns, but that’s because they don’t want it to be exactly the same. They want it to have similarities but they also want it to stand on its own as a new mask.
“This is that ice cold Ekimu Pfeiffer that white gold. This one for them good toa, them good toa straight master pieces.”
Uptown Bionicle Funk, Feat. Toa_Fjordisk}

Edit: Oops looks like im 20 posts late
I sure hope so!
For now I’ll have to settle with this.
