Doubt so, from what we know (if we count the comics as canon) the show will end with Umarak becoming UTD.
That’s what I thought, and then another season would start with Umarak the Destroyer.

That’s kind of the reason I think they are splitting the waves coverage as paired episodes, they have the ending scene (or at least stills of it) already produced. That would mean they have 4 episodes ready opposed to the more likely two. Another thing to consider is the footage from Tahu’s video. That is most definitely finalized material and it already covers the important things like Tahu entering the maze, uniting with Ikir, and fighting Umarak. Story Elements that should be around the first half. Granted, anything is possible and I would welcome more episodes.

If we count JTO as a big movie in general, JTO is by far the most extensive animated media of bionicle to date.
Considering that each episode is 22 minutes (correct me if I’m wrong) it is about 88 minutes total. While the longest bionicle movie was 75 minutes long. Not only does this show that the show has a ton of effort put into it, but it also shows that it is likeley to be filled with lore and a lot of neat stuff Tahu uniter of muscle mass, keep flexing tahu!

It’d be interesting to see the “but not one” part end up meaning something totally different that happens in the future.
Edit: If all of the elements are required to defeat evil, then how can the Toa hope to defeat Makuta without the newly introduced element of Shadow? Hmm…

Well to be fair it isn’t trully new in the world, remember, Umarak has live thousands of years. However I don’t think ti counts as an element for it is nothing but if it did…would there be a Ma-koto region? Just made that up heh. And if all elements are requires to defeat evil…wouldn’t the MoUP itself be enough for that?
@BlueCel Well, since Umarak can use shadow powers, it’s pretty much confirmed as an element. The region’s are made from the raw elemental power used to craft the MoUP.
Perhaps Makuta does unite with the Toa and help them defeat evil. Maybe they somehow connect with his inner self, and bring his true feelings and emotions out, but Makuta doesn’t trust himself (feeling the temptation of power and dominance too strong) so he unites with them as the final elemental being required to destroy evil (symbolically speaking) and hurls himself into a volcano, making sure Okoto would forever be safe from him and the MoUP.

I’m prepared for my eyes to get destroyed by the ammounts of trans neon green, just so I don’t die of dissappointment if it isn’t yellow. If it is yellow…imma die, but for joy.

This topic is obviously enough for discussion regarding the Bionicle 2016 storyline and sets. We encourage discussion and even some friendly debate from time to time. However, a lot in this topic is very easily seen as clutter.

You are ALL allowed to voice your own opinions. However, do not do so as though yours is better than others, or act as though someone else s opinion shouldn’t not have been said at all. I’ve spoken about my opinions, and people disagreed. That’s fine. And if you want to discuss an opinion, that is fine as well. Just be CIVIL.
