No, they broke.
“DOESN’T BREAK. LOOK AT THAT. IT BROKE.”
No, they broke.
“DOESN’T BREAK. LOOK AT THAT. IT BROKE.”
According to the book’s word search, the only time the word shattered is shown is on page 79, quote,
“sphere over him and his allies. As dozens of arrows pinged and shattered against the shield…”
On page 114, it says, quote,
“All of the heroes’ energy drained and vanished, and they collapsed beside the remains of their broken masks…”
But this makes me wonder.
Will Ekimu fix the broken masks, or will he create new(va) ones?
Have we forgotten the use of spoilers now?
Wait…
-our six main heroes travels to an old city that once belonged to the people the heroes are protecting.
-said city have however been taken over by a new group of villains who will also cause the release of the series main villain.
-the heroes must seek the aid of a legendary figure to aid them in defeating the villain who have taken over the city.
is it just me or does this sound a bit famili… ooohhhh

When I saw the pic of new polybag I got an idea. The golden skull mask might be an equivalence of MoUP. Since it is golden (imbued with power) and it is Kulta’s (or Skull Warrior’s for that matter) mask. The book said that all Toa’s masks were shattered and elemental powers were drained during the fight with Kulta. Maybe the powers went into his skull mask and created a new MoUP with control of all elements.
What if the golden Toa masks are shards of the mask of ultimate power? When Ekimu hit the mask, it may have shattered, resulting in the massive shockwave. The protectors hid the masks so the mask of ultimate power would never be remade. The MoUP was revealed quite early on to have been made by combining all the elements into one mask.
Then how did they become so intricately shaped and made exactly for the Toa? And Ekimu knew of their importance, especially in the Prophecy of Heroes.
Wouldn’t be the first time the G2 storyline had plot holes.
Or maybe this isn’t a plothole, because maybe the masks didn’t spawn from the Mask of Ultimate Power. We don’t know how they were made or where they came from. For now, all we know is that they seem to be very special. Besides, didn’t Ekimu make new masks at the end of Island of the Lost Masks? I’m sure Ekimu could have made them.
I was confused enough about the purpose of the Golden Mask of Skull Spiders, which is to reanimate the dead, but now this?!
Shoot!
Not only am I more thrown off by this Golden Mask of Skulls and its purpose, but now I gotta get one of these so I have all of the elements of the story-line in case it shows up in future episodes!
EDIT: This is the Mask in the Teaser!!
much like how the trans orange hau had a purpose, no?
Well, I personally think that the Trans-Orange Tahu Mask represents either his elemental abilities, or it will be completely drained of its power in the next episodes.
As to the invisible one… maybe it’s hinting Tahu is like Toa Vakama?
Or maybe it will represent his ghost later on?
I don’t know really…
A personal theory of mine is that seeing how Skull Basher and Skull Slicer are stated to be Skull Grinder’s lieutenants, its possible that Skull Basher is the lieutenants of the Skull Warriors while, Skull Slicer is the lieutenants of the Skull Scorpions.
Also here is how i think the skull spiders work with the skull army
I prefer to think that exclusive Trans-masks are drained version, since Tahu’s and Gali’s masks are not in the normal winter wave where other’s power-drained masks are.
As for the clear one, I haven’t got a slightest clue of what it should be. Just an exclusive LEGO piece perhaps.
I believe that there are multiple loss
I just think it’s a promotional mask like the transparent Hau, the trans-orange Hau and trans-blue Kaukau. We haven’t seen any purpose for these promotions in the story yet, so most likely they’re just nice collectibles.
Hi, is there any info that Skull Basher and Skull Slicer originaly did look like the way they do now? And by that i mean with the horns and the extra pair of arms.
Like Gahdok and Cahdok?
