I’ll miss Bionicle G2. I loved it a lot. If it ended in 2017, like they’ve been planning from the beginning, to have it for three years, it wouldn’t be so sad, because we’ve been promised with three years and we get it, so no complains.
Now it’s like 2010 situation, when we were promised to have Bionicle continue up until 2020, but nope. Same thing here: 2017? - nope.
So many interesting things left undiscovered, like mask of time, for example.

By the way, the ending was much nicer this time. A little sketchy, but logical and worthily enough.

I was like oh BIONICLE G2 ended that’s kinda sad, then it was confirmed there was no Makuta set AND no MoUP. I was very dissapointed, THEN TELL ME THE SUMMER SETS ARN’T EVEN COMING OUT IN MY COUNTRY. Then the sadness was replaced with rage, then more sadness and dissapointment. This has been a bad weekend.

Eurico Silva, dormant for 2016, has been awakened by the cancellation.
And he uses that annoying song too.
EDIT: Holy his voice! He SOUNDS like a nice, quiet guy but NOPE! He’s a raging brute of “gen twoo sukx!!” in everywhere he’s seen.

when ever i see video’s made by people like Eurico, i wish that Karma comes down on them like a hail storm.
people lile them, piss me off.
they all act like they are the superior people in the fandom they are in, and belive that all of the stuff they think are pure, cold hard facts, and that everyone else are dead wrong.
and if they ever get right on something, they act like they where chosen by god.
every time i see their videos where in they are happy with something, they come of like the jerks who started a big party with champane and everything, just to spite the people they are mocking.
and the worst part is, you can’t debate with them. They will counter argu anything you throw at them, and if you give up, they declare victory and that others where wrong.

Part of me has a feeling that you’re talking about me, ShadowWolfHount, and a few others who don’t like G2 the same as this Eurico guy. And isn’t that what arguments supposed to be? Giving counter arguments to get points across to each side? The same thing can be said about both sides. I like G2 in some ways (especially Umarak the Hunter) but it didn’t seem to be the same toyline I got into back when G1 was around

i am actualy refering more to people like Eurico, who are Geewuuners in its purest form.
the people who will never say something like “oh, there was some good in it”
the people who will keep on saying that G1 had better story, had better sets, had better everything.
the people who will keep on saying that CCBS is one of the worst building systems to have ever been made and would demand that LEGO should just use the original Technic peices, even when that means to just go back to the peices that cracked easly, remember those peices from Bionicle, the peices whick had a more likeable chanse to break?
the people who will just reffer to G2 as a trash bin where in they hope that G2 and all thats part of it will be forgotten.
the people who treats G2 as if it was the Quickening of Highlandes.
The people who wants and will clame to many LEGO fans that Bionicle G2 was the worst LEGO franchise to have ever existed.
Do you know something, when i see people like Eurico behave the way they do, i just want to go over to LEGO’s offices, buy the rights of Bionicle from LEGO, and then show them off to those people, to make it clear to them that Bionicle will never see the light of day ever again.

I’m glad G2 ended. There are a lot of reasons for this, but one of the biggest ones is now I don’t have to watch something I enjoy and care about destroy itself. G2 made a lot of mistakes, and now I don’t have to deal with watching them unfold. The bigger reason is my prediction of what the community is going to do next. When G1 ended, BIOTube and the BIONICLE community in general actually boomed, it didn’t die out. Fan-created content increased with the lack of official content, because the community felt they needed to make more MOCs, more animations, create more content to make up for the fact that there was no longer any official content. Don’t get me wrong, we got some pretty good official sets this run, but the best sets I’ve ever seen will always be community-made MOCs. I think G2’s end is going to spark the same kind of creativity and inspiration in us (maybe less-so than the original run just because it wasn’t around as long), and I’m looking forward to what the community comes up with next.

I feel like if CCBS had a little more aesthetic variety, those people might not be as peeved. In my opinion, CCBS as a system is vastly superior to the buildable figures of old. It could just use some new shells to spice up the look a bit, and admittedly, G2 at least tried that.

G2 actualy reintroduced the Gear system.
which was something that was dying in the constraction line, and remember, G1 was the one who originaly killed off that system.

seriously, as G1 got older, they became more about posing than having some function.
G2 have the posing, but they also had the functions.
