Now that I think about it, a lot of successful franchises and stuff cash in on six. Pokemon, MLP FIM, Power Rangers…

All I remember about Bionicle & 6 is that spastic matoran with the weird leg talking about it, in that ignition book.

If there was a toa for every element on a team there would be 16.

16?

I know the main six, plus sound, psionics, light, gravity, lightning, plantlife, and Iron. What are the others?

I know you’re missing shadow and magnetism…

There are no Toa of Shadow though.

Hmm… Magnetism, Plasma, and Shadow.

Not in the story, but it is possible.

I have everything classified into six:

Six main elements
Six Kal elements (with Plantlife in place of Vacuum)
Six Fanon Elements
Six others (Iron, Psionics, Light, Shadow, sand, and none)

Fire, Water, Ice, Stone, Earth, Air, Lightning, Magnitism, Plasma, Gravity, Sonics, Light, Shadow Plantlife, Iron, Psonics.

I do not believe there are twenty-four elements, good sir.

six fanon elements

aka elements I made up.

What are they?

I think the reason that there are 6 Toa per normal team is that that is the amount needed to perform a Toa Seal, as a back up plan in case things go wrong.

That’s actually a solid theory–it makes sense that the Toa in the MU would know about Toa Seals, and therefore be naturally inclined towards groups of six. And even if they didn’t, I suppose the Turaga would know of it, therefore having their Matoran transform in groups of six to keep up the tradition.

Energy, Mind, Physics, Time, Alchemy, and acid.

Aren’t mind and psionics the same thing?
