Here is a mid scale zamor sphere launcher with life rings for magazine ribs.

how do you come up with these?!

Fantastic use of parts

It’s easy. A zamor magazine is just a stack of rings, any ring will do. BIONICLE parts are compound shapes so you pick a simple shape that matches and build around that.

I’d be interested to see a revamp of some of those bionicle system sets now with these better scale brick launchers.

Hmmm… Question, has anyone ever tried to recreate any of Alieraah’s building techniques?

Remember seeing an attempt of one of her custom heads way, way back, but has anyone ever tried to do any other ones like her generic torso design?

Been fiddling with the older build of it trying to see if it can maybe be built onto to match the newer one

Here is a female torso design that uses the maxaroni pieces to represent a broken spine.

so this is why we never saw the sisters of the skrall

Here is a Toa Metru head block that uses the pentagonal tile to represent a nose and cheeks.

this is incredibly cursed and I hate you for forcing this image into my memory and this is the greatest thing I have ever seen and I can’t thank you enough

I am both conflicted and at peace

Thanks, bionicle is not dead. It’s being kept alive with belville food. :hotdog:

i don’t know whether to laugh or cry

also the head looks better without the mask
than it does with it

Ok, so from what I’ve been seeing there is definitely a way to reverse engineer the old torso into the newer one, looks to be mostly the same framework, in fact mostly the same build entirely when I compare the old how to’s segments to the corresponding angles I can find on Alieraah’s pics, but with some part swaps and some kind of reworking of the upper segment.

Just… gotta figure out how exactly that portion was rebuilt to match the design from the angles I can see it

(I’m not talking about the newest torso design to be clear here, I’m talking about the redesign from just before it, which was newer in comparison to the older one we got a how to for, though from what I can tell… if you can figure out that one you can maybe figure out the other one too, going to be a lot more difficult, but it seems to be built on the same framework still, just heavily expanded on)

This is pure genius yet wholly diabolical.

My spine broke in seven places after seeing this, very accurate to Rob Liefeld’s art style.

@KAI_BORG

So V.2 as opposed to V.3?

you absolute GENIUS

you, my guy, are a true wizard with legos.

Yeah, precisely, it’s the same size as V.1, but the build itself is a lot smoother looking

V.3 (or even V.4) would be incredible to figure out just to know the techniques behind them, but right now I just want to figure out the next version on the chain above what we did get instructions for

very accurate to Rob Liefeld’s art style.

Thanks, Jim Balent’s Catwoman comics gave me the idea.
