Runa shifted aim towards his eyes, then fired, then he rolled out of the way, extending X-Caliber.
Gridmaster creates another wall, though it would unfold into a box to trap PD. Gm laughs,
"Youâre weak Plague Doctor. But I must admit you at least have some brain on your shoulders.
Firemaster hovers above and glances at the quarantined part of town. She flies over, watching from aboveâŚ
The Laser went through the atom-sized mesh holes in the Plague Doctorâs Mask. He shielded his face and stumbled back âAh! You done of a-â the Plague Doctor the landed inside Gridmasterâs trap. He was infuriated that he could be outsmarted. âYou forget, I have numbers on my side!â He said from inside the box. Without warning, 10 Plague Doctors Stepped out of the shadows and began firing SMGs at the group.

Meanwhile, several zombies and monsters looked up at Firemaster, holding their hands up in the air towards her and trying to somehow get to her. But due to their rotted brains, they wouldnât realize the many flaws in their logic.
Gridmaster shrunk the size of the box, to crush Plague Doctor. He looked at PD without mercy and wouldnât stop to save the othersâŚ
Kaleo felt their presence and ducked under the fire. Adam saw Kaleo duck and followed his example.
Firemaster went to ground level. her twenty meter field activated, when she landed and the field would soon be filled with an explosion of flame.
Runa, still at the wall, put up his shield. âAnd you forget that we have skill on ours.â He said as he stood there, readying a plan.

The Plague Doctor sentries then fired at Gridmaster.
Hoping to buy his time with the distraction, the Plague Doctor injected himself with another power boosting serum, more than he usually takes and reaching a dangerous dosage level. He repeatedly slammed his body into the plasma walls, and smashed through. He rolled onto teh ground and kicked Pierce in the stomach. Pierceâs back hit the wall, and Pierce fired at the Plague Doctor with his gun. The Plague Doctor repeatedly dodged the bullets, and the ones that hit him bounced off his armor. The Plague Doctor moved in to attack, but was suddenly striken by a coughing fit. he pulled out an injection pen, but Pierce mistook it for a weapon and shot it out of his hand. The serum spilled onto the floor, and the Plague Doctor collapsed from his sudden fatigue. âNoâŚâ he wheezed, coughing and writhing on the floor. He injected himself with another poswer boosting serum, and struggled to lift himself off the ground. The Plague Doctor went in to punch piernce, but he moved out of the way. The Plague Docotr instead slammed his fist into the pole that connected to the spire. It was disconnected, and the structure suddenlt became unstable. The Plague Doctor and his sentries fell through the floor and plummeted down the long, dark empty shaft. The others happened to be on stable ground, and were unharmed. The spire, however, was damged. sparks flew from the pole, and short circuited. the dispersion machine exploded, beyond salvation.
The Plague Doctor hit the ground, landing right on top of a large crate of the power boosting fluid. The hundreds of vials shattered, the glass cutting into the skin of the Plague Doctorâs battered, broken body. âHelp meâŚâ he groaned, reaching his arm up. Pierce shook his head, and turned away from the hole.
The glowing fluid seeped into his wounds. The Plague Doctor roared incredibly loud in pain. shaking the entire facility. Pierce and Dr. William glared at The Plague Doctor one last time, and turned away. The Plague Doctor screamed again, and there was silence. his body lay motionless.
@Jcton
Dr. William groaned. âGreat, now the spire and the machine is broken. What are we going to do now?â he said to himself. He thought for a moent, before suddenly snapping his fingers. âOkay, I think Iâve got a new plan.â He then said, facing Adam and Kaleo.
Runa growled. âWell of course. Things couldnât be easy, could they?â He muttered. âBest bet now is probably to destroy this part of the city from orbit.â He says, only half sarcastically.
âDonât worry, I have a more cost-effective solution.â Dr. William replied. âI remembered that a prototype for the dispersion machine was placed inside the local church. We could put the antidote in there.â
Runaâs eye twitched under his mask. âAlright. Letâs go.â He said, heading back to the roof to fly to the church.
âOkay.â Dr. William said. Before the group left, however, Pierce turned to Axiom. âWould you like to accompany us?â He asked him. âWe could use your help.â
@Jcton
The zombies within the Firemasterâs radius were fried by flames. The charred corpses collapsed to the ground.
Suddenly, one large amalgam appeared before her:
The large Amalgam leaped up into the air and swiped at Firemaster with its claws.
Gridmaster took Adam and Kaleo to the roof. He hovers and glances at the surrounding city. He sees a smoke stack in the distance, though he ignores it. He calls to Runa,
âWe three are ready.â
Firemaster raised the temperatures in her field, the temperatures were hot enough to burn human flesh.
The monster squealed as the shields burnt its claws slightly. The monster darted to the side and began scampering up a wall nearby, hoping to sneak up behind firemaster.
Firemaster stood still, she didnât worry, for her shield covered all sides, though she causally sends a fireball into another horde of zombies.
The monster unexpectedly spat corrocive, acidic venom at Firemaster.
Firestorm created a flash of fire, which would vaporize the acid. She created a fire blast underneath her feet and flew into the air. These beings were a waste of her time and were barely worth an effort.
After viewing it, Runa would extend his wings and fly down towards the church, ready to get this whole thing done and over with.
A group of zombies were waiting for Runa at the churchâs entrance. Pierce and Dr. William breathlessly followed from behind. âWait up.â Pierce gasped.
Meanwhile , the Plague octorâs broken body lay at the bottom of the basement. The glowing blue fluid burned away at his blood, and his body began violently convulsing. He released an animalistic roar as the blue cracks turned a crimson red. His eye lenses and Gauntlet circles turned red as well. The Plague Doctor groaned as red energy began to flow from his body in sparks. He reached out his hand, and pushed an object into the wall without touching it. The red energy seemed to somehow move objects on itâs own. The Plague Doctor squeezed his fist, and pipes around him were crushed by an invisible force.
Runa, in the air, simply blasted a hole in the roof of the church and flew in from there.
A large, tumorous blob clung to the ceiling inside the chapel. It shifted around, as if something was moving around inside. Without warning, the blob fell from the ceiling and plopped to the ground. The rest of the churchâs ceiling came down as well, the building beginning to crumble. A giant creatureâs head emerged from the blob. If Runa scanned it, ge would find that it was impossible to get any readings or specs of what this creature was. All that appeared on the HUD was an image of its face, with a large title below that read:
âTHE MOONâ
The meaning of the tarot card had finally become clear: the Moon wasnât symbolic; it was a being, a god.
âOur savior has arrived! He shall clean us of our sins.â A plague doctor erratically said, kneeling down and bowing to the head, which was all that made up the creature so far. Rather than thanking the cultist, the head of The Moon lurched foward and closed his jaws around him, swallowing him whole.
Runa shot at it with his lasers. âYep, shoulda blasted the place from orbit!â He calls.
