Those books were my childhood…

I have three of them: pirates, castle, and Chima. I also have that Crazy Action Contraptions book, and I would highly recommend building the models. The rubber bands would be a bit tricky to find, but you should be able to replace them with standard office rubber bands.

Overall the Brickmaster books are pretty good, if you find one with all the pieces I would highly recommend it. They have little comics inside and a surprisingly large selection of things to build.

I had a ton of these; Castle, City, Atlantis, 2012 Ninjago, both Clone Wars ones and Crazy Action Contraptions

Really fun sets, and most of them were my introduction to each theme

That reminds me, I have one of these too! Has a bunch of fun gimmick models and came with useful parts.

I just stumbled upon this Inika school cone. Has anyone ever seen this before? Can’t find anything on the internet.

what on earth is a school cone

is all the knowledge inside there

It’s a cardboard cone, something that children get on their first day of school. There’s usually sweets, small gifts and school utensils (pencils etc) inside. I don’t know if it exists in America, but over here it’s basically a tradition for first graders to receive one when they start school!

I’ve never experienced it here, though it would not surprise me if any German Americans carry on the tradition. Just read an article on the history of it, it’s a really cool bit of culture

That would be a cool and unique piece of Bionicle merch to have as well, I’m sure there are only so many of them around

I got this at Legoland California from a… special area. This was actually one of several old/obscure Lego items I received from said special area but it was one that instantly caught my attention. I Googled the show once I got home, and turns out it was a real production. There were even recordings of it from what I remember!

I don’t think I’ve ever actually posted a picture of this, but I’m certain I’ve mentioned it before.

Life-sized Vakama Hordika mask (ignore what it’s sitting on). Here’s the BrickLink listing. Looks like none have been sold recently. I think I bought mine two years ago and it only fit me for the first few months I owned it (I grew my hair out like a true rock-and-roll kid).

I’ve seen both my version and what I presume is a different version that came with this costume. If anyone ever finds someone selling that Hordika costume, message me immediately I need that chest plate.

Ghid, a black suit with a bright red tie is standard for the work force also stay on topic.

That’s pretty cool, but you’d need the version with built-in voice changer to be really cool.

Also the power gauntlet.

The kid on the box looks very amused

That power gauntlet is rad. Voice changer, too!

I have to find these things, unfortunately the US doesn’t really have many people with these things to sell…

I’ve got the dart from that dart shooter

It’s a pretty useless piece all things considered, no attachment points whatsoever

How does it scale with 04 disk launchers?

Scratch that I’m realizing their are multiple projectiles, not just the big graphic

yeah that looks useless
