Okotan Adventures: Spider Saga

The message was saying:
Guess. It’s big and blue and it hosted my siblings three years ago before the big battle.

“We sure can’t lay around here all day” Tarkur let out sighing a bit. Era looked at him and gave a faint smile. “So much for settle down.” She joked, Tarkur chuckled a bit before commenting, “I’m always on the move,”, “But don’t worry about it I’ll promise you when the time comes I’ll be right there by your side.” He said in a comforting manner. “Thank you.” Era replied as they both got back on their feet.
“So we’re we heading?” Era asked, “To the Mask Maker city or the Water capital it’s your choice really.” Tarkur answered as he started packing and organizing their things. In the bags, all sort of things could be found in them everything from old ornamental masks to rusty armor. Of course, their treasure hunts hadn’t ended in much gold or widgets but the items they’ve received is more than enough to drive collectors crazy and every now and then a good bargain arrived leaving them with quite some amounts of widgets.
Last thing Tarkur checked before getting an answer from Era was their wallet and his “Family album” He hadn’t got time to add yesterdays quest in the book yet so it had to wait some more. Ever since the defeat of Makuta and the reuniting with Era, so had the writing in the book become a second thought. This was of course not planned but Tarkur had recently been trying to live more in the present and that had made him happier too.
“I think we’ll visit the Water capital.” Era answers after thinking through the decision. “I have never truly been there so it would be nice to see it for once” Era continued. Tarkur nodded in agreement he hadn’t been to the Water capital either so it would be a new experience for the both of them. “It’s kinda like we’re on vacation now considering we’re both new to the Water capital” Tarkur joyfully points out, Yeah it is kinda like that I suppose." Era replies equally happy.

Meanwhile, Azure where still meditating trying to rid of her darkest and most frustrating thoughts. The light from the roof made her armor pop out from the clothing she was wearing. Because of the armors more metallic texture, it kinda sparkled from some angles. She, of course, found the breeze and air from the mountain tops to be soothing but it didn’t exactly help her to calm down. She was currently more stressed about her situation than she should be but who would blame her for being stranded in another dimension without a way to get home and also miserably failing on the one thing she was set out to do in this dimension. No Azure hasn’t been having the easiest of times lately. Abandoning her friends was probably not the greatest idea either but she felt like that was what she had to do to get herself on the right track whatever that would mean or so Azure thought.
Azure believed in a balanced way of life where if things went bad or there was too much negativity in your life had to do with your not being in touch with the true you like you’ve lost a part of you. Which is why she believes that she must in someway reconnect with her old self to get rid of whats been bothering her as of late.

OOC: I think that means her villa in the City.

IC: Blaze thinks of a few places, one of them being Rena’s home.

OOC: Yup.

Midway through Blaze’s think time, Mina flew away towards Rena’s villa.

The figure had continued his shambling walk, travelling further through the city.

Despite how much his form, well, stood out. Large, cloaked, and carrying a scythe dripping with a suspiciously dark, and red looking fluid, few really seemed to… notice him. Somehow despite how… slow, shuttering, dead his movement’s appeared to be, they were oddly… smooth at the same time.

Keeping him… hidden as their paths somehow let him slip past any Okotans he encountered like a shadow. Something they only react to after he’d swept by, and then only with the realization someone or something had just been there.

Frog sucked back in and gave a third and final piercing bellow, which carried ever farther and louder than the last two had. There was actually a purpose to nearly alerting himself to every resident of the entire island - He was checking his surroundings. It was slightly concerning to know that, based on the way the sound traveled back to his ears, or more specifically the lack of the sound traveling back to his ears, that his tree canopy no longer existed, in whatever form it had taken previously.

While it concerned Frog that he would now be visible to birds, it never crossed his mind that his home, however distant, was now visible to the entirety of the capital of the region of water. He backpedaled back into his cave to begin the day with a painting.

As the sound carried over Okoto for the final time, Gladius’ metallic steps stopped at the base of the stairs that lead to the forge. He had come with the intention of seeing Ekimu, but spying who he was pretty sure was Blaze, he paused before continuing his ascent. A bird had just flown from off his head, and he seemed occupied with a note.

Blaze nods then leaves Ekimu a note informing his master that he was going to take the rest of the day off to relax and enjoy the weather.

He begins heading for Rena’s villa as he puts the message from her in his pocket.

Blaze jumped a bit at the roar, What in the name of the Elements and Toa was that thing? he thought.

On the way down he sees Gladius, “Good day, Gladius.” He said politely, “How are you doing today?”

OOC: I actually feel a bit sad for this “Frog” his home’s gone; I feel like someone should help him find a new home where he could be safer and feel comfortable.

The Okotan yet again stilled as the call echoed. Whipping his head in the direction of the sound, and his eyes practically seeming to literally blaze, glow with… something.

Uttering yet another call of, “Makuta.” Only this time less… questioning, and more assured.

The distortion in his voice erupting in severity with the growled name before he turned and began to rush in the direction.
Moving at a pace oddly… unnatural in comparison to the one showed before, and his path ensuring he’d at least near the temple, and perhaps Blaze’s forge dependent on its location around it, or at least within the city.

Gladius held the emotion from his features, but even he had to admit that hurt. He no longer proudly wore gold as a sign of his ego, but it still seemed as though the gold was there when three years seemed to mean nothing.

Being as proud as he was, Gladius tore his emotionless eyes from Blaze and continued up the stairs.

OOC: wait, whose ego are we talking about here?

Also, Kai, Blaze works in the same building as Ekimu; he just uses either a separate workshop or shares one with Ekimu depending on the various masks that need to be made.

IC: “Nice to see you too.” Blaze said as Gladius went past him. Blaze’s body language would show that Blaze was happy to see the old warrior was still around and seeming in good health and silently wished him the best.

Skipper who had been running around the mask maker city for the last couple of years causing havoc and creating scenes to disturb the natural order of things took an interest in the cloaked being who uttered Makuta as it passed him by and within seconds there was an mere identical being following him.

“HI M8” The being(Skipper) let out “Tak’n intrest for the 4rge eyy” He continues.

Vladin entered his apartment with two bags full of food and almost no widgets left. He sighed as he put all the food on the kitchen table and remembering his adventure from three years ago.

OOC: There’s no indication that Blaze isn’t wearing gold anymore, is there?

IC:

Gladius didn’t bother looking back at Blaze’s comment. Their meeting was a coincidence, nothing more; Blaze had cemented that in the old warrior’s mind. He reached the forge entrance and went inside.

The Okotan whirled around with a speed previously unseen from him, the scythe arcing towards Skipper’s neck before halting just before it would’ve hit (whether or not any of the… fluid from its blade still ended up hitting him is another matter though) as the being stared at him in visible confusion despite the muted haze still covering his eyes.

You are not Okotan… Are you from Makuta?” The Okotan questioned, the distortion to his voice audibly lessened than before.

OOC: oh, Blaze’s armor colors are still red and gold. Sorry. He mainly does that because he likes those colors and still does it as an homage to Tahu. I made mention of that in the Appearance section of his signup sheet.

IC: Coincidental as their brief meeting was, Blaze still thought it was a pleasant one. The young Mask Maker continues heading down the stairs to the plaza at the base of the hill.
