Yee, Pokémon’s already 20 years old, and Nintendo’s gonna do A LOT with it this year:
-Original 3 movies remastered
-Mythical Pokémon distribution every month
-Release of the Generations line of the TCG
-Pokkén Tournament’s localization
-A FREAKING SUPERBOWL COMMERCIAL
-Probably some others that haven’t been released yet

So, what do you think about Pokémon’s anniversary?

They better release 2 main series games. One is not enough.

Really hoping for a new generation (7th) game sometime this year. Any new game will be good though

Even though there’s the new zygarde forms, Pokemon Z sounds sorta appropriate to release

No no no! It’s not time for 7th Gen! We need to get Zygarde’s other forms and Volcanion in 6th Gen first!

Did not know about this

Been hyped about Pokémon for a long time and slowly collecting all the films on DVD, though sadly they had issues with distribution so I’m missing several.

Hopefully we get releases of all the movies on DVD as I’m missing;

  • Pokémon: The First Movie—Mewtwo Strikes Back
  • Pokémon: The Movie 2000—The Power of One
  • Pokémon 3: The Movie—Spell of the Unown
  • Pokémon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew
  • Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea
  • Pokémon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened
  • Pokémon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction
  • Pokémon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages

At some point they need to make a game where you can get every Pokémon without having to buy multiple generations of games or alternative versions.

Man I feel so old! I remember collecting the cards and watching the show nearly 10 years ago, didn’t start playing the games until a few years later though.

I really wish I had a 3DS in order to play them. It would be awesome to have a special 3DS with Charizard or Blastoise.

Then again, I am playing Yellow already.

I’m excited for the re-releases.
Well, and I guess Pokken. I mean, Player 1 is always forced to use the gamepad, but hopefully the game itself is actually good.

That’s only in the Kanto and National Pokedex. In the Johto Dex, #20 is Furret. In the Hoenn Dex, it’s Lombre. In the Sinnoh Dex, it’s Abra. In the Unova Dex, it’s Simisear. And in the current generation, #20 is Scatterbug.

Wait a minute. That’s 6 Pokemon…

I think I know what must be done…
