Llun continues his charge, striking at the terrorcon with his blades.
As Skystalker is midair, Darkside opens fire with his rifle, send a few bolts at the beast.
Skylynx is struck in the side and is sent careening back onto the ground.
The blades make only shallow cuts in Vertebreak’s armor, and the predacon tries to swat Llun away with a massive claw.
The bolts from the rifle do little to dissuade Skystalker, and the dragon tackles Salvo to the ground. Salvo throws a punch at the side of his head, disorienting him and allowing the quartermaster to throw the predacon off her.
Pixel begins to race towards the mercenary, preparing to spring onto him.
Spectrum had already taken care of the last mercenary, having now moved on to attacking the predacon Vertebreak.
Pixel stops when he sees the defeated foes, pouts, and makes an effort to join his sister in battle.
Spectrum could be seen fighting Vertebreak- a gigantic, cybertronian drake with striped yellow armor and a rocket cannon protruding from his back. Currently, the predacon was distracted with fighting the mercenary named Llun.
Darkside transforms, and drives towards the predacon, before he activates his Folding Corners Charger, slamming his full length into the beast.
Skystalker’s feet are swept out from under the predacon as he tries to pick himself up from Salvo’s throw, and he falls over. Hissing in anger, he transforms into his lanky robot mode:

IC: Darkside transforms, and opens fire with his rifle.

“Hold your fire!” Thrust said.
“We’ve got a friendly down there.”
Starchaser flies down and transformed into robot mode. Before Treadquake could reach them, she pulled out her armor piercing rifle, and fired it point blank at the predacon’s head.
The shots inflict minimal damage upon Skystalker, and the predacon’s wings transform into cannons that fire a pair of exploding disks at Darkside.
Vertebreak was currently distracted with fighting Llun, allowing Spectrum to approach the predacon.
The bullet embeds itself in the base of one of Skylynx’s horns, but it doesn’t seem to have any affect on the predacon beyond that. The dragon glares at Starchaser, its eyes and crimson lights flaring angrily as he opens his mouth and breathes a jet of fire at the Decepticon.
Darkside dodges to the side, and transforms, he began driving circles around Skystalker, creating a ring of dust around him, obscuring his vision.
Darkside called out to Salvo, “Blast him!”
Starchaser quickly dove down, planting into the dirt.
“What the hell are you made out of! That gun was made to rip through tanks!”
She exclaimed, surpised by how ineffective her weapon was.
It was then Treadquake arrived, leaping into the air, transforming into robot mode, and landing on Skylynx’s back. Trying to get a grip on the breast’s head.
Spectrum transformed back into robot mode, attempting to dismantle Vertebreak’s weapon.
Salvo raises her riot cannon and shoots into the cloud of sand. A strangled cry of pain is heard as she hits Skystalker in the chest, knocking the predacon over. He transforms into his beast mode and takes flight.
Spectrum’s tools are unable to cut through Vertebreak’s armor, and the dragon tries to shake the minicon off him.
Skylynx’s reaches a talon behind his head to claw furiously at Treadquake, while simultaneously turning sharply around to breath a jet of fire at Starchaser.
Spectrum goes flying through the air, landing on a rock. Her cubic head jolts back and strikes the rock, knocking the small minicon unconcious.
“Oh boy.” Lightshift said, hovering above Vertebreak."
“She’s clear, open fire!” Thrust said.
The three jets resume their attack on Vertebreak, firing their machine guns and missiles at his weapon.
Darkside, pulled out of the loop, and drove out a bit, putting some distance between him and Skystalker.
The claws dug into this back and shoulders. They cut deep and hurt like hell, but he wouldn’t let it slow him down. With vigorous determination he wrestled with the monster, trying to pry it’s mouth open, and if he was lucky break its jaw.
Meanwhile Starchaser took to the air, and quickly evaded the flames. Trying to look for any weakspot the predacon might have.
