Salvation: Part II

PIxel races outside the hangar, happy to finally be free from its insides.

“Weird,” Blight sighs. “Maybe he didn’'t like getting shot either. Anyways, I’m not pushing his wheelchair any longer.”

“He shouldn’t need it. he was standing fine when I saw him.”

Blight looks hopelessly lost.

She laughed a his expression. “It confused me too” As she finished her sentence, they would begin to approach the Sunrise.

Blight rubbed his eye and let slip a yawn. “I’m just waiting for Pixel and his friend to show up as soon as we walk in.”

The group eventually arrives at another door, this one inscribed with the “divine light” cyberlgyph, surrounded by complex diagrams colored blue, green, purple, and red.

Topside goes to knock on the door, but before his metal fist could touch it, the glyph flashes and the door begins to slide open.

The two would see that the Antillian Sunrise was currently in the process of closing down. Patrons were leaving its doors as the garishly-colored DJ shut off the lights and holograms.

“Don’t worry about that. I threw them out.” She says with an enigmatic smile.

“Oh. Well then. I guess that’s out.”

Gatecrsher nods with an impressed face. (OOC: think the Barack Obama meme)

Gronius quickly entered the room.

Spectrum bounced after him, rolling into a ball to catch up.

Zepar tries to open the program but not execute it to see what, specifically, it wants to do when it ‘repairs’ the Salvation.

“Well, I’ve got one hand to help with; the other one’s been stuck in gun mode for as long as I can remember and the doctors I’ve met say that’s not gonna change anytime soon.” Epsilon offered.

Sidestep rubbed his eyes.
“…I didn’t drink again, did I?” he muttered. “This is becoming a problem.”

“…yep!” Lightshift replied cheerfully.

Beyond the door was the tower’s control room- a wide chamber with ancient machinery and consoles rising from the floor and jutting out from the walls. Most of the light came either from the orange and green holographic projections on said consoles, or from the light of the moon shining above.

Standing in the room was Lady Corona, the supposed Prophet. She bore plain blue armor with components suggesting a simplistic cybertronian automobile alt-mode, and stood around average height.

“Hello,” she greets the group warmly, smiling at them. Standing on either side of here were two bots- one clad in blood-red, spiky armor, and another bearing a green ATV alt-mode.

“Salutations!” Thrift replies, raising his hand at the elbow. “Would you like to weigh in on our discussion about Ev-”

“No, sir, I would not,” Corona politely declines with a chuckle.

Zepar would see that the docking cradle in which Salvation rested was equipped with gigantic arms and a host of drones fitted with repair tools.

“Alright,” says Barkeep. “So what do you all want?”

As soon as he did so, the towers of Iacon-yet-to-come vanish.

“I was under the assumption that you had your appendage replaced with the weapon, as I have done,” Shockwave notes, looking over the scanner.

The DJ turns and waves politely at the two.

“Three engexes, please.” Lightshift requests politely.

SideStep sighed.
“I really should stop drinking.” A touch of his former self shining through.

I’ll have to be sure to remember this. Zepar thought as he closed the program and tried to decipher the other prompts.

“Same effect.” Epsilon said with a shrug.

Gronius and Alterion stopped, not knowing how to react.

Daria looks at the other two bots,
“Alright, lets see what we can find.”

Actaeon raises an eyebrow,
“and who made you leader?”

Daria grins,
“My good looks.”

Actaeon sighs, and face-palms.

Scrapshot looks at Halfrunner,
“Are you discouraging customers from trying to visit your establishment?”

Barkeep complies, serving up the three drinks.

The other prompts controlled a few other, smaller, components of the docking cradle, such as lighting.

Nearby, Sprocket and Grommet could be seen in yet another argument. What it was they were debating, though, could not be discerned at this distance.

Corona turns her attention to the two and waves.

“Ah, just who I wanted to see,” she says pleasantly.

“…Well, two of them, anyway.”

Facelift raises a finger.

“Uh, actually,” he weighs in, “if we’re going off looks, I think I should take the lead?”

“I’m discouraging foolish and irresponsible behavior,” Halfrunner retorts conversationally. “And at any rate, I think our good captains want us off Salvation for a spell.”

Shockwave nods.

“Perhaps the Autobot Wildsong could be of some assistance,” he says to himself. “Provided she brings a toolkit…”

Zepar looks for someone that seemed to be in charge.

Epsilon nods, “I’m curious, why not just blast or slice it off and take it to a lab to figure out the CNA it’s looking for?”

Both bots look at Facelift,
“No.”

Actaeon sighs,
“Perhaps we should have the most experienced here lead us.”

Daria raises a question,
“Experienced in what exactly?”

Scrapshot sighs and puts his drink down before leaving.

Zepar might see the Splitter Brothers (@meepinater) and the aptly-named Barkeep.

Carelessly removing the scanner may damage whatever mechanisms it is connected to,” Shockwave says. “That may hinder or outright deny our access to whatever it is hiding.”

Halfrunner follows him out, only because he needed to leave as well.

Facelift takes a step back and puts a hand to his chest.

“Well now! That hurt on a surprisingly physical level!”

“I’m experienced in trauma surgery and experimental medicine…” the mad medic tries his luck again.
