Silence was always a quirky, even among his peers in the lair of the Drake. He was incredibly ambitious, even for a champion of the Drake, some might even say, too ambitious. He not only wanted to ascend, as all champions do, he also wanted to rule whatever land was beyond. He also performed strange experiments that bewildered and terrified the others. Because of this, the Drake decided to banish him to the lair of the Megalodon, hoping his ambitions and crazy ideas would die with him. But he was wrong.
In the lair of the megalodon, Silence’s discontent of being banished grew, and with it, his determination. Through his horrendously disturbed mind, he concocted a plan to escape to the next lair. He enslaved a group of sharks and used them as a boat to get to the next lair, the Lair of the Crab.
on the island, he discovered a strange new power source which he named Silence Juice, which he used to create constructs and enhance his weapon. Getting out of this lair was a sinch with his small army of constructs.
In the lair of the snake, he was able to avoid most traps by sacrificing his constructs. Even so, it took him a long time to get through the thick forest.
Getting through the lair of the Ogre was the toughest lair yet, as he was constantly being attacked by roving bands of trolls and giants, and with his own army significantly depleted, it became increasingly harder the farther up he went. Eventually, he was able to outsmart a band of trolls and enslaved them, and finally he made it out of the lair and onto…
The lair of the Drake, his homeland. This maze was no trouble for Silence’s twisted mind. He killed any other champions of the Drake that he saw on his way.
Finally, he reached the last lair, the lair of the Pheonix. He met many enemies on his way to ascension, including an incredibly cocky champion of the Crab named Breach, who soon became Silence’s mortal enemy, even if he didn’t know it. In the end, Breach barely made it out before him, and Silence was known forever as the third ascendant of Krolgate.
