I like how Dolphus has been positioned into a paradoxical circumstance in which he must keep Ari on board as long as possible to facilitate his own emotional escapism and he must get her off the ship as quickly as possible to avoid her possible death
helps give other people (like Nota) the opportunity to defuse some of that main character syndrome he’s wandered into as well

Ari is doing some warm-up aerobics on deck to keep her abs in an unrealistic state
Karl is in his cabin, unsealing his orders from Hethila’s organization about his true mission on the ship
Mako is also in his cabin, blackpilling over Ari blasting him for folding like a cheap suit every time something happens
Alexis was last seen leaving the meeting room after the captain vote, a long while ago
