I’ve been going to my local Lego store a lot recently and I’ve gotten a few sets of the Build-A-Minifigure things. These are the figs I got (I replaced a few parts here and there and their props have already been integrated into MOCs or other stuff).
I quite like the fact that Lego started putting actually interesting stuff in the BAM towers, instead of putting in random assortments of Mystery Minifigure parts like they used to do. Exclusive recolors, exclusive prints, whatever it is, it makes digging through the tower fun again (and cheaper than buying off BrickLink).

See if they have the green jacket LEGO Club Max torso someday. I know it exists, because the one LEGO convention I’ve attended had a booth for LEGO Club where you could get that version of Max by turning in a coupon from the magazine.

When did this guy come out? If it was more than a year or two ago they probably won’t have it.
Also, the torsos they do have generally aren’t something ultra-specific like this (most specialized they’ve gotten is those Ninjago torsos I have).

Got the transformers agent knight crossover. I don’t really have any investment in knight rider but this is a really nice figure and the lights + sounds really makes me hope hastak brings that feature back to some larger retail collectors figures.

I came back from my first ever TFCon last weekend. Too lazy to take the pictures (at least right now), but I picked up some great stuff:
