Name: Dolphus Gorov
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Equipment/Tools/weapons: Dolphus’ left arm has been amputated at the shoulder and replaced with the wing of a maribou stork, with additional muscles grafted into his left shoulder blade. The chest muscles of the stork have not been grafted in, so the wing is incapable of any king of strengthened flight, but it reaches four feet from shoulder to wingtip and is fully articulated, and possessing the strength of an adult human arm.
He also carries a mask, a package of cigarettes, a lighter, a hunting knife with sheath, an old metal cane, and a gold-plated pocketwatch affixed to a chain.

Personality: Dolphus is a product of rich living, which has refined his personality to being somewhat disgusted with the more common individuals. He liked to be as haughty as possible, rubbing in his status as better than everyone else in the faces of as many people as possible, but now he is so wounded by his experiences that the snobbish attitude is the last of many lost comforts keeping him from a complete breakdown.

Backstory: The Gorov family was tied deep into the wealth of Sikkerhed, but the living Gorovs were not quite as rich as they pretended to be. In spite of this, Dolphus Gorov, the only child of Gregor and Galina Gorov, would live it up as much as possible, trying to look important and high-class despite everyone knowing he was hardly as royal as he let on. The Gorov family thrived off the worsened conditions of the poorest in the city, bleeding the resources of whoever they could get their fangs into, making their resources a ripe target for the efforts of Adele Darwin and The Viscount. Tragedy, however, strikes at even the most well-to-do, and a factory explosion took both his parents from him at once.
Fate was exceptionally cruel, as the surrounding royalty took his parents’ estate and finances, forcing him into the orphanage. His father had the reputation of being a merciless and ferocious man, unfazed in his dealings even in the presence of those like Francis Agler, and nearly every orphan and staff member there had been personally slighted by the family in the past, motivating them greatly to take it out on Dolphus.
Desperate to escape the vile treatment suffered there, Dolphus gladly agreed to a ludicrous venture as the assistant of some unnamed individuals with the wealth of the city at their backs, unaware they were toying with genetics in an attempt to create a race of angel-men. On his first night there, he was placed in an induced coma and operated on, staying unconscious for almost two months. While the surgery was a complete success, Dolphus flew into a series of panic attacks as a result which culminated in him having a complete nervous breakdown. Deemed unfit to be the start of a new race, he was ejected back onto the streets as a test to see what people would think of such a hybrid, but has instead gone to great lengths to hide his physical modification from the world, vowing revenge on those who did this to him - revenge on the entire world, if it was possible.

Appearance:
Dolphus is missing his left arm, and in its place he has the left wing of a maribou stork, which requires weekly detailed cleaning to maintain the integrity of the feathers. Extra tissue was grafted under his shoulder skin, which resulted in the rather painful growth of feathers through the skin around the shoulder.
Due to the addition of his wing, Dolphus has some tailored clothing to fit both his needs and his idea of rich living. He used to own a full tailored threepiece suit, but the suitcoat disappeared during the surgery and the suitpants were ruined after mere days on the streets, forcing him to extremely legally and by no means forcefully obtain a pair of cargo pants. The dress shirt he modified to remove the left sleeve of, and somehow fit his wing through the hole. The vest has a pocket for the watch and chain.
Overtop of all of this, he wears a definitely not stolen military cape over his left shoulder to obscure the wing along the left side of his body, an oversized trenchcoat with the left sleeve tied into a knot to imply he is missing an arm, along with rather out of place wingtip shoes and a newsboy cap over his scruffy black hair, a shock of blonde hanging down in the front. The cap, in combination with the coat, is his ‘disguise’ while wandering amongst the ‘workers and common folk’. He also has a left handed glove he wears backwards on his right hand, being the only one he could find.

Occupation/Job: Formerly none, now alternating between common street urchin searching for scraps and prince of royal status too good for the worries of the commoners. In spite of all his traumatic experiences he still views himself as something of royalty deserving the best living possible.

Trivia: Having a romantic relationship is something he obsessed over shortly before his parents passed, and he becomes extremely awkward when with girls generally around his age.
He is famished a good portion of the time, as he is so snobbish about what he consumes he can’t bring himself to eat most of the food he finds out and about, even if it means going hungry.
After being abandoned on the streets, Dolphus learned how to pretend to smoke to avoid conversation from the other scamps and scroungers, although the little smoke he has inhaled is leading to an addiction.
Prior to losing an arm, he was well versed in playing the piano, and looked forward to a bright and successful musical career amidst the smog-filled city.
He is deathly afraid of cats. Smelling somewhat like a bird doesn’t help.

What are there cyborgs in this world?

No, that’s the sole reason I shot down Ghid’s last character.

@Ghid your character is approved

Just Like @ajtazt character in dreamscape I trust Ghid’s ability to rp such a wild character concept and as such I’ll ask that you don’t go too wild.

But there can be hybrids.

Yes, but Ghid’s character will be the only player in this rp and all others you may encounter will solely be npc’s

Okay, can there be someone who needs the mask on at all times?

Pm me what you have in mind and we’ll see how we can make it work out.
