“You know, I keep meaning to ask. What’s this war you all keep talking about?”
“Our kind had a…disagreement…well…actually no. It wasn’t our kind so to speak, it was the cybertronians. I’m a minicon so we’re technically just ever so slightly different, they took two sides. Autobot and Decepticon. The latter being the more evil of the two, then they fought for years…Minicons give power, so we became quite handy little bots to have around…I’m really not the person to ask for details, I just healed and helped out…I don’t actually remember all the bots involved…although, I do wonder…huh…could a minicons power be channeled by your kind?” She wrote.
“Given how different are anatomy is, I doubt it. But honestly, it all sounds so strange to me. Vex don’t really do war. Or at least we haven’t in living memory.”
“It’s less of an anatomy issue, we charge up anything mechanical in nature if we’re hooked up right, so in theory, it probably would be possible, and I envy your peace,” she wrote.
“It’s better than the alternative. Our last queen, Ares, was a vicious warlord. She was bent on expanding Vex territory to cover as much space as possible. She’s the reason our empire extends beyond our homeworld.”
“I see, that’s quite interesting. May I ask a personal question? If you were to be in fatal condition how would I go about repairing you? As a medic I find the concept of foreign biology quite interesting, and considering that I’ll be here, most likely, for the foreseeable future it may prove helpful information if one of your kind was ever involved in an accident,” she wrote.
“Our bodies are simple enough. Nothing but basic robotic shells. No programming or modules like you guys. The most important part of repairing a Vex is getting the gas into a secure container of some sort. Then you mend the body, and transfer the gas back in.”
He explained.
Her eyes widened in awe, “Well that’s fascinating, you’re sentient gas? That’s amazing, full on? If you’re working off shells, then that means, well you could potentially…if properly channeled and contained…you could make bodies more like ours, or take one over…the spark chamber would have to be your core residence, but you could in theory…goodness and it might even improve your safety…but you’d have to pre-generate a body…hm, maybe you could test it out, but then you may have issues with energon and spark…no no, that wouldn’t be the safest ideal, unless I could see what type of gas you are,” she wrote out in a furious speed as she thought. Then she lifted it all up with shaking hands as she vibrated with excitement.
“Wow. You’re pretty excited aren’t you. Though I’m afraid most of those ideas, while possible, aren’t safe. Though… Do you mind if I ask you a personal question? Since you asked me one?”
She nodded, and wrote down a bit, “Well I’ll have to look into making that idea safe, it may be useful later,” she then wrote down an extra line, “Go ahead, ask a few if you like!”
“I don’t know. Leaving our shells in any way is risky business. But anyway, I’ve always wanted to know… What’s it like having a face? Eyes, a mouth, all that? What’s that like?”
She paused and wrote out a bit, “Well eyes are more mechanical for me, but they work quite nicely. However, if you cover one, your vision alters a bit. As for a mouth, well you typically can use it to eat,or vocalize speech. I must say however, you’re much more durable in those functions then I.”
“Exactly,” Backbreaker says with a nod. "We’ll need a plan B, just in case.
“…What about the generator room? This place has to have something like that, right?”
“That definitely sounds like a good idea. We’ll have to send the minicons on another recon mission to find it though.”

Machbreaker sighed, he was really hoping for a Spark to study. But it wasn’t here, so no point in staying out here any longer. Tie-Grabber pulls Railgun up first and then Machbreaker; the three climb their way back into the chute and to the main facility.
“Eating?.. What is, eating?”
He asked curiously.
Nebula was wandering around, looking for Railgun. There was something she wanted to talk to him about.
She likely catches the team as they head to get disinfected. There was no telling what in the world could be on them now. Best to clean off first and then to other work.
Nebula quickly ran to the group. Unaware of their prior corpse related activities.
“Hey, Railgun. I’ve been meaning to talk to you. Since it’s pretty clear we’ll be working together a lot in the near future, I thought it would be a good idea to really get to know each other. One on one. Leader to leader. What do you think?”
She asked.
“We can eat and drink energon and other specific materials by ingesting them.”
“Facinating.”
He said. Genuinely amazed. Though he lacked the facial features to express it, his tone of voice made it more than clear.
