Railgun leaned towards his left, preparing himself to dive away from Whirl. Though it also helped move his weight and better aim his cannon, targeting the swiftly incoming hand. He fires, sending shells in hopes to hit the joint sections where Whirl’s claws meet on the rotor hands to blast them off.
After firing a couple shots, he dives into a roll to try and get away.
The shots connect, and Whirl backed off. The claws on his right hand hung loose and limp. Not broken off, but clearly no longer functional. He raised his chest gun and began to machine fire at the two minicons. Nebula dove to the side and out of the way, causing Whirl to focus on Railgun.
Once the shots start heading towards himself, Railgun transforms into his train mode and starts racing off. Provided Whirl was firing horizontally, spraying shots from left to right, he charges straight towards the helicopter. His cannon aims upwards as he approaches and fires shells at Whirl’s gun, attempting to hit mid barrel and the back end of the weapon.
As Railgun is already charging towards Whirl, and with the bulk now prone, he fires several shells around the crotch area. Primarily trying to blast apart the joints where Whirl’s legs connect to the torso as to take off the legs.
After taking those shots and soon approaching Whirl, his cannon lifts all the way up and slams down. He fires a blast near point blank to the ground and flips himself forward, firing a second shot soon after to give him more air. As he swiftly flies forward through the air in mid somersault, Railgun transforms back into his robot mode. Once straightened out, he quickly assesses and takes aim at Whirl from above. If Whirl is still down there and depending on his reaction, Railgun either tries to take aim for the head or for the spindly arms before they reach the thicker part of the shoulders.
The sim-autobot howled in pain as its legs were blown clean off.
Nebula charged in, and as Railgun disabled the simulation’s arms, she took to the air and fired right into its mono eye, obliterating the head. She landed on the ground as the simulation dissolved.
“Whoo! That was great. I think we work pretty well together.”
She said eagerly.
Railgun lands from his flight, going into a roll to disperse the force. Sure, he could just tank it, but that would be careless. He stood up and watched the remnants of the simulation vanish with a grimace. He thought there would be more of a challenge, perhaps the sim underestimated them as much as any bulk would.
“Perhaps,” he replied distantly, thinking it over. “Though hard to say from just a warm up. Want to try another one?”
Railgun gets back on the console and scrolls through the list. There were plenty of options and their pairing…made it difficult to decide which was best. But eventually, he settles on Backbreaker and activates it before heading back towards Nebula.
“Riiiight,” the larger bot laughed out nervously, “Well off to the medic!” He said as he broke out into a run towards the medbay bursting in with a natural bravado, “Hey! Doc we got ourselves a fresh patient! Some electric shock!”
Railgun doesn’t attack for now, just starts backing up while aiming his cannon at Backbreaker’s own cannon. Waiting for a better chance to shoot to the front of the weapon’s barrel.
“This is gonna be more of a challenge!”
Nebula said to Railgun. She dashed to the side and fired at the hologram repeatedly, aiming for the eyes.
Railfire gave a sigh of frustration. He was still working on Razorclaw’s fingers.
“Lay her down on one of the tables. I’ll get to her as soon as I can.”
Railgun similarly fires a couple shells at the middle head with his canon.
“That was the idea.” Railgun replied. He was calm so far.
They were still in the medical ward, having by now finished at least one passage and working on another. Or rather, they were going to do that until all the new patients. In which case they pause and wait to see how they can assist.
“Assistants, if you’d be so kind. This predacon needs her fingers reattached. It should be a simple matter. While you take care of that, I’ll see to Juliana.”
Railfire said, standing up.
“Hell no. I’m not going to let some minicons try to fix my hands!”
Razorclaw spat back.
“Relax. I trust them. They do fine work.”
Railfire said reassuringly.
