Maybe…maybe we should just move along and hope for the best…

sorry for the obvious pun and song, I had a bad day today

This is the furthest possible time away from being the time to make jokes. Especially not about the death of such an inspiration of so many…

I see a pun, honoring Yang’s character. I don’t think that counts as offending Monty.

Come on, man. There’s a term for this, “too soon”.

I guess so.

Trust me, I’m very saddened by his passing, too. The day he died was very bad for me, personally. Monty’s death was one reason as to why, even though, and I’ll be honest with everyone here, I’m not that much into RWBY anymore.

Now, I’m very concerned about what will happen to RWBY. I recall that @Shadezy mentioned that Monty told others how the rest of it’s supposed to play out, so it might continue.

You could say that it shouldn’t because it would disrespect Monty’s original vision, but I feel that he would have wanted it to continue providing a source of entertainment to its fans, so in my opinion, not continuing RWBY would be more disrespectful towards his memory.

Ren, Ren is the best, or Zwei. He is awesome too

We can’t let this topic die, so favorite characters? Mine is Ozpin. Very mysterious.

My favorite character (having only seen Volume 1) would have to be Pyra or Blake.

My absolute favorite character is the series would have to be Jaune! Sometime this summer I will be cosplaying him, so keep on a look out for me posting it

So thinking about a post that was put out a while back talking about how OPed the characters where in the season 2 finale , and after watching both seasons through again I noticed how they slowly began to be able defeat grimm on their own. After all that’s what they were at Beacon for is to train to be able to defeat grimm on their own. It would make sense that they would be able to beat the “weaker” grimm by themselves maybe even smaller groups of them too.

It should be noted, Rooster Teeth announced that RWBY will continue with Volume 3 this year.

"Hello everyone-

Given the excitement and questions that came out of PAX East over the weekend (sorry we couldn’t be there!), maybe now would be a good time to talk briefly about the future of RWBY’s production.

RWBY Volume 3 will indeed premiere this year. While the animation crew is hard at work on RvB13, RWBY is returning to the early stages of pre-production. Kerry and Miles are getting ready to dive into the scripts, and I’m talking to the guys about pre-viz. Meanwhile, Shane’s already choreographing a new fight sequence (Argh - want to tease this matchup so much! Let’s just say Yang intends to teach someone a well-deserved lesson), and our tenacious tech team is getting the production pipeline ready.

For those wondering, Monty was heavily involved in shaping the future of the world of Remnant. His story ideas will live on, and you will also be able to see some of the animation he’d begun working on for Volume 3. For some time, the team has known the direction in which the next volumes will be headed, and Rooster Teeth is committed to bringing these tales to you.

So, while it’s too early to go into any further detail, be assured that the adventures of Ruby Rose and her friends will continue as planned. 'Til then, please keep sharing your writing, art and photos. They mean so much, now more than ever. They keep us going, and we love seeing them as much as we love sharing our stories with you.

Warm regards,
Gray, Kerry, and Miles"

S-so it will continue? My heart is ablaze with this news…

It makes me happy that the story will not take any alternate routes, striving away from the original idea. This is getting me super-hyped!

Hurray!

Well, now that we have confirmation that RWBY will, indeed, continue, I have one pressing concern.
Since Mr. Oum is…no longer with us, what will happen to Ren?

I would have asked this earlier, when it was more topical, but I was too afraid of being screamed at for daring to ask a logical question instead of writing some grief-stricken “rest in peace” comment.

Sorry if this counts as necroposting, but whatever.

@haloblast Out of curiosity, what are your thoughts on RWBY?

If it’s going to be so agonizing then just get it over with.
