Taipu, Toa of Earth. Hand-picked by Takanuva to become the one of the next Toa of Earth, Taipu serves the Toa Avokan as the team’s muscle. Upon becoming a Toa, his already incredible strength from his Matoran form is amplified. His Toa form resembles Axonn due to his devotion to justice being similar to that of most Toa. He battles using a Mining Pick that works just as well in mining as it does in combat. With his Mask of Strength, he can boost his strength further or replenish his strength quicker when he feels tired.

Well, Axonn did influence Taipu’s Toa form since he’s similarly devoted to justice.

2015 Okoto Onua is also very bulky. So i don’t see it too out of place for this character.
