Artakha, creator, that was created by the Great Beings (Canonization Contest #2: Meet the Maker) Lego Creations

But first there is one thing I want to say: that mask was not created by me, it is KhingK’s and Galva’s. I just used their parts in a “creative way”. If I have broken a rule or law, I apologise in advance and will correct the mistake as fast as I can. Behold, his majesty Artakha, king of Artakha. After 4 months I have completed my biggest and greatest MOC. (TTV cast, I would like the photo below to be used in polls, please) [photo 1 finalfinal] There are some stats (all according to Studio): Piece count: 530 (!) He would be on 8th place within G1 Bionicle constraction sets and combiners, released as sets. Painted pieces: approximately 90 (±7). Most of them (80+) are need to be repainted in sand green. Artakha adaptative armor (BIONICLE Canon Contest #2: Meet the Maker) Lego Creations

This is my version of Artakha. It’s 26 cm. I built in a mechanism for his wings. It’s like he has adaptive armor. Its hammer is connected to its hand with a connector. To orient it in all directions I added a ball joint. His bust is made from a torso of hordika and inika. For the legs I was inspired by axonn. I only used pieces of G1 bionicle apart from the 3 pieces of elemental creatures because I wanted artakha to be the most faithful to the G1. If you want more pictures, don’t hesitate to ask me. Final update: released instructional video [(C) warhammer 1] [Entry photo] It’s been an obsessive past however long since I started making this moc and I think I’m just happy to finally be done. This moc is a bit weird to me personally in the sense that it’s somewhat counter to how I envisioned Artakha for most of the time before I built this; namely, lean and limber. Well this take obviously ain’t lean. Much of that began out of a need to accommodate an awesome but rather large custom mask (thanks KhingK, link somewhere below), as well as the idea of a more kingly theme carried over from my friend Kodiak, to whom I owe the gunmetal-sandgreen-gold color scheme and very choice of mask to begin with. I’m happy I was able to include waist articulation and an ‘ab-crunch’, as well as a gear function (The Hau is a placeholder mask, as I do not posses an appropriate mask or the parts to create a brick built one, and this stage of the contest does not determine the mask’s appearance)
